UN Women Jordan extends the deadline for NGO's to submit partnership proposals, for the Annual Workplan 2018.
UN Women are pleased to share that the Call for Proposal has been extended online and will be receiving bids till 8th March.Date:
The deadline has been extended for the invitation of proposals for partnerships with NGOs based on UN Women's Jordan 2018 Annual Workplan, enabling both national and international NGO's to submit their project proposals for an additional week. The grant support-call for proposals will adhere to UN Women 2018 Annual Workplan, 2018-2022 Strategic Note and Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
UN Women Jordan Country Office developed a new strategic programme of support to the Government of Jordan for the period 2018-2022. This programme focuses on supporting Jordan’s efforts to continue to respond to the humanitarian crisis in the region while strengthening its own resilience, stability and security. Framed within the global policy context of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the central promise in Jordan’s national planning documents to leave no one behind, in particular vulnerable women and youth, the new programme clearly draws the links between women’s empowerment, sustainable development and Jordan’s security and stability.
UN Women’s new strategic programme applies a “resilience and empowerment” approach, designed to build the short and medium-term resilience of vulnerable refugee and Jordanian women, while also promoting the long term enabling environment for their empowerment. The programme will achieve this through three key areas of work: policy development and global norms; women’s economic empowerment; and women’s voices in peace, security and humanitarian action.
UN Women values the enablement of partnership to find out more; information and submission details please go to https://www.ungm.org/Public/notice/67691.
Deadline for submission is extended to 8 March 2018 at 4pm (Amman time).
