أطلقت هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة، منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة، صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان ومكتب المنسق المقيم للأمم المتحدة بالأردن سلسلة من الفعاليات والأنشطة في إطار حملة الـ16 يوم لمجابهة العنف ضد المرأة في 2014 والتي تقوم بها مختلف هيئات ومنظمات الأمم المتحدة في الأردن بالشراكة مع عدد من الشركاء الدوليين والوطنيين. وتم عرض الفيديو للمرة الأولي في فعالية ختام الحملة تحت رعاية صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة بسمة بنت طلال وبتنظيم اللجنة الأردنية الوطنيئة لشؤوت المرأة.
