The Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW), in collaboration with the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Women’s Empowerment (IMC), UN Women, and the Governments of Canada, Finland, Norway, Spain and the United Kingdom, organized a regional event on Women, Peace, and Security at the margins of the 65th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65), the UN’s largest gathering on gender equality and women’s rights.

Under the Patronage of His Excellency Ziad Fariz, Governor of the Central Bank, UN Women, in collaboration with Aya Consultancy, organised a dialogue on an assessment on the financial needs of women entrepreneurs in Jordan. The assessment provides recommendations to governing bodies and financial institutions in the kingdom for increasing financial inclusion of women.
