Promoting resilience, empowerment and women’s leadership: discover our ten-year journey in working alongside our national and international partners, as well as inspirational women, men and youth to support the Government of Jordan in advancing national priorities for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
From our previous presence as UNIFEM until the establishment of the UN Women Jordan Country Office in 2012, our action in Jordan focused on investing in women’s economic empowerment, promoting policy development, strengthening peace and security and responding to humanitarian crises.
