Women’s roles as peacebuilders in Jordanian security sector agencies

Jordan’s National Action Plan on UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security (JONAP) promotes an enabling environment for women’s meaningful participation and contribution to all security and military operations. The video captures their experiences working in these fields, including as frontline responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Government of Jordan leads the JONAP implementation, in partnership with the Jordanian National Commission for Women and UN Women, and with the support of the Governments of Canada, Finland, Norway, Spain, and the United Kingdom. #JONAP
